Mondial de football pour amputés : L’EN cartonne face à l’Irlande

During the 2022 Amputee Football World Cup, the national team won against Ireland (6-0) on Saturday at the “TFF Riva” stadium in Istanbul.

Thus, the national team opened the first match with a goal scored by Salah Edin Hassani in the fifth minute, then Ilyas Al Sebai scored the second and third goals. The national team continued to perform well with Hamza Al Modan’s fourth goal. Salah Edin Hasani closed out the match with a sixth goal in the final minutes of the game, while Elias Al Sabai again scored the fifth goal against the Irish.
The national team was supposed to play their second match against Brazil on Sunday.

In a statement to MAP after the match, national team coach Fouad Asso said, “Despite today’s win and the team’s good performance, it is a bit early to talk about a good result. We should hope to qualify. For the second round”.

“We are confident that we will go as far as we can in this cup,” he continued.
For his part, the president of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Sports for People with Disabilities (FRMSPSH), Hamid El Aouni, welcomed the result achieved by the Moroccan team against its Irish counterpart, which shows the strength of this team. The result of the preparation of various members of the national team.
The 15-man national team has been drawn in Group D alongside Brazil, Iran and Ireland.

24 teams are participating in the Amputee Football World Cup in Istanbul from September 30 to October 9.
