More details coming out after eleven bankruptcies (3: 4 nE) in the European Championship final between England and Italy!
According to the Daily Mail, England players around Harry Kane & Company were shocked when 19-year-old Buchaio Saka decided to take the final penalty for England coach Gareth Southgate, 50.
In memory: Saka missed a crucial penalty against Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donarumma (22). According to the report, some players are said to have expressed their dissatisfaction – but Southgate was adamant in its decision.
The reason: Coach Southgate’s performance in penalty training led to Saka being selected for the decisive penalty shoot – preferring the more experienced England players Raheem Sterling (26) and Jack Greilish (25).

Ireland legend Roy Keane, 49, slammed Southgate’s penalty shooter selection on ITV: “You can’t stand a 19-year-old’s embarrassing shoot. They have a lot of experience, he has won sterling trophies and they should have shot in his place. ”
