Elder Scrolls 6 goes into pre-production and Fallout 5 follows

With luck, our planet will still be habitable when Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 5 are released. Well, I may have grandchildren or bald at that point, which is the second part, but I’m satisfied with the idea that both games will eventually survive. That was the promise of Todd Howard In an interviewDiscussed shortly after the launch of Starfield on the Xbox Series X and PC Great showcase hosted by Microsoft.

The head of Bethesda Game Studio has confirmed that The Elder Scrolls 6 has entered pre-production, and once the game is finally released, Fallout 5 will be next on the table. By a simple calculation, I think we will have to wait about two decades, the first being dedicated to the development of Elder Scrolls 6 and the second to Fallout 5. Developers don’t really stay busy from time to time and on other projects, which is probably why Starfield has been so quiet in recent years, only properly revealed last week.

Yes, Elder Scrolls 6 is in pre-production, after which we will start working on Fallout 5. So our schedule will be full for a while. There are other projects that we come back to from time to time, but they take a long time. I want to speed up the completion and launch them. We do our best, but we want everything to be as good as possible for everyone

The Elder Scrolls will be my gift to 6 grandchildren

Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6 were officially announced in 2018, but after a quick delay, we have at least a hint release date for the first one. Is it expected that The Elder Scrolls 6 will have to wait until 2027, i.e. Fallout 5 will start in 2032-2033? Come 2033, a good coincidence between Fallout 5 and Metro operation. These astronomical distances are made clear in the fact that Bethesda alone can handle two games, without spending any further development, on Obsidian Entertainment (Repentance, Avoided, and The Outer Worlds 2), a busy studio on other projects as well.

As you think about the last fall of 2015, you realize that time is relative and that you are aging fast. Post-apocalyptic RPG fans may be able to sweeten their wait with the improved Fault 76 button, while the opposite side is busy with a new extension of The Elder Scrolls Online, but this raises our expectations for Bethesda for new games.
