Former Kilkenny player and recent Laois manager Eddie Brennan has taken over the coaching role with the Kuala Hallers in the 2021 season and will be handled by John Toomi this year.

Brown Laois was in charge of the recent All-Ireland campaign, however, the eight-time All-Ireland champion stepped down after two years in charge.

Dublin defeated Laois, who had a record win over the Metropolitans last year, at the Leinster Championships this year, losing even one point before qualifying Claire for the qualifiers.

Brennan apologized to the Laois County Board earlier this month after accidentally publishing a GAA hour podcast of a private conversation criticizing some officials.

After losing two Leinster Championship finals, Tommy was sent to Dublin, where he won the hurling and football titles with club Erin Isle.

Kovala was one of the best hurling years in Quala Leinster before the All-Ireland Club Championship was canceled due to concerns, and won the Dublin Championship this year.

The Dalki-based team won back-to-back All-Ireland titles in 2017 and 2018.
