Dublin: Ronaldo must beat Speedster and love the little fan

Dublin –

Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and his Portuguese regain the Group A lead. A narrow 0-0 victory over Ireland in Dublin was enough for the 2016 European champions to move from pole position to the final against Serbia.

Both teams are in a tie before the final match of the World Cup qualifiers on Sunday (8.45pm) in Lisbon. However, thanks to the excellent goal difference, Portugal will be able to secure the group and allied World Cup tickets.

However, during and after the game, the Portuguese striker was mainly shocked by the fans.

After the final whistle, a girl overtook the security forces and walked towards Ronaldo. The star immediately hinted to the Steeward that there was no problem. As the girl stood in front of him, Ronaldo unbuttoned his jersey and handed it to her and hugged her.

During the game, Ronaldo was not further impressed by a fan who ran away: the Portuguese player evacuated and did not want to go into a confrontation here.

Sad evening for Pepe

Meanwhile, Portugal’s Pepe experienced a particular grief in Dublin on Thursday evening. Ironically, in his record game, the defender was shown a yellow-red card in the final stages of a repeat foul game (81st) and thus disappeared in Sunday’s final. Pepe became the oldest player to wear the Portuguese national team jersey against Ireland.
