DFB rivals Portugal draw with European champions

The battle between past European champions Portugal and Spain ended in a goalless draw. Both teams featured a number of players in Madrid, but it was nothing more than a sight to behold. National coach Lowe must be closely monitored.

Portugal, the group rivals of Spain and Germany, won a lot of space in their final EM test. The 2012 and 2016 European champions drew 0-0 in a moderate clash in Madrid. Prior to the kick-off, the two countries had called for a joint auction for 2030.

Portugal are Germany’s second opponents in Group F in Munich on June 19. Other European champions in the 16-ticket race are world champions France (23.6.) And Hungary (15.6.).

Hungary’s successful E.M.

Those Hungarians won their last European Championship Test. Coach Marco Rossi’s team beat Cyprus 1-0 (1-0) and are now unbeaten in 10 games. On Tuesday, Hungary will also receive Ireland for an EM dress rehearsal in Budapest.
