The Meteorological Authority has announced the weather information for the next 72 hours (Wednesday – Thursday – Friday).

The weather was hot on Wednesday in Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northern coasts, officials said. The north and south of Upper Egypt are hotter.

Temperatures were recorded at Cairo 13-25, North Coast 22-14, South Sinai 15-29, North Upper Egypt 10-27 and South Upper Egypt 13-30.

Authorities in Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northern coasts have indicated that the weather will be waterlogged, with occasional densities and strong winds.

The authority added that the weather was hot on Thursday in Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northern coasts, and warmer in the northern and southern parts of Upper Egypt.

Cairo recorded 24-13, the northern coast 23-14, southern Sinai 15-29, northern Upper Egypt 10-27 and southern Upper Egypt 30-13.

The authority said the weather phenomenon was due to the appearance of waterfalls in Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northern coasts, sometimes dense and sometimes active winds on the northern and southern Sinai.

On Friday, the weather was hot in most parts of the country during the day and very cold at night, the Met Office said.

The authority confirmed that the water showers in Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northern coasts are meteorological phenomena, which are sometimes dense, and sometimes active on the northern coast and southern Sinai.

Cairo 13-22, North Coast 14-21, South Sinai 15-27, North Upper Egypt 10-24, South Upper Egypt 13-30.
