Delhi’s twin tower demolition company to demolish bridge at Chandni Chowk to demolish Chandni Chowk bridge; Traffic route changed – Pune Bridge demolition work at Chandni Chowk will begin on Tuesday

Pune: The Chandni Chowk bridge is under construction on the Pune-Mumbai highway and the residents of Pune are facing massive traffic jams. Chandni Chowk is the road to Pune Mumbai Highway. If the bridge at Chandni Chowk falls, it will ease the traffic, and there is a big debate in Pune about the water on this bridge. The bridge will be demolished in seconds using the technology of the same company that demolished the Twin Towers in Noida in Delhi within minutes. So within a few seconds the bridge will become land friendly.

Chief Minister Eknati Shinde was on his way to Satara when his convoy got stuck in a traffic jam at Pune’s Chandni Chowk. They were released after about 2 hours. However, realizing the problem of traffic congestion at Chandni Chowk, the Chief Minister inspected Chandni Chowk on his way back.

To solve the traffic problem at this place, Pune residents also met and decided to build a bridge connecting NDA with Baner Pashan, so the traffic congestion here will be reduced. Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari inspected the bridge. After that, the National Highway Authority informed that the work will be completed from September 12 to 15. Now that bridge is going to collapse within days. National Highway Authority is working day and night for this purpose. For that, the walls of the bridge should be filled with explosives. The bridge wall excavation work has started. The bridge will collapse within eight to ten seconds after the explosion.

Following the collapse of the bridge, alternative roads have been provided for the residents of Pune. The transport system will be as follows.

> Traffic from National Defense Academy (NDA), Mulshi to Pashan, Bavdhan, Kothrud and Warje will be diverted from newly constructed flyover no.1. NDA will divert traffic from Mulshi to Mumbai via Flyway No. 7 via Flyover No. 3. . Traffic on other roads will continue as before.

> Traffic from Mumbai to Kothrud will be diverted via the existing Kothrud route.

> Traffic from Kothrud to Mumbai will go via Kothrud subway to Ved Vihar.

> Traffic will be diverted from Kothrid towards Satara and Warje from the highway near Sringeri Math on Vedavihar service road.

This traffic diversion plan is for a temporary period. While demolishing the old bridge at Chandni Chowk. Later, NHAI Pune project director Sanjay Kadam informed that the new route and diversion will be made available for public use after the demolition of the old bridge.

NHAI selects Edifice Engineering to demolish old bridge at Chandni Chowk, Pune. It was the same company that demolished the Twin Towers in Delhi a few days ago. The old bridge at Chandni Chowk in Pune will be demolished using the same technology. This bridge will be demolished in 10 seconds. A new flyover is being built to decongest traffic at Chandni Chowk in Pune. So the old bridge will be demolished.

It will take eight to 10 hours to clear the road formed by the bridge collapse. During this period vehicles coming via Mumbai – Pune will have to provide an alternative road. Although the Pashan-Bavdhan stretch of the new flyover is ready, it will take time as NHAI has to establish an alternative system for the Mumbai-Pune highway to demolish the old bridge.
