Towards the end of the second season of Walking with Celebrities, Apple offers another special highlight to its Fitness + service.
“Time To Walk” or Apple German “Zeit fürs Gehen” is a training session from Apple’s Fitness + service that encourages people to walk with celebrities. As in a podcast, all sorts of people from sports, entertainment and science talk about their lives. This is not uncommon on the subject itself: walking. For example, you can follow Steven Fry through Regents Park in London or take a lap with Zachary Quinto and his dog on the banks of the Hudson River in New York. At the end of the 25- to 45-minute episodes, the celebrities play a few more songs related to the subject – with Dolly Parton and, of course, the family story that came with it.
A healthy round through Castle Park
At the end of the second season of Walking with Celebrities, His Royal Highness Prince William, the next King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, went for a walk on the top shelf of the apple. The episode will be available from December 6 on the Fitness app on the iPhone and Apple Watch. According to Apple’s press release, the Duke of Cambridge “will talk about the importance of maintaining mental health.
In return, Apple donates undisclosed amounts to three mental health charities selected by Prince William: Crisis Texlite in the US, Shout 85258 in the UK and Lifeline in Australia.
“Time to Walk” has been available on Fitness + since last year, and since its launch in Germany in early November, it has also been available in Germany. All the stories are in English, and Apple gives some of the leading names of the pavement: Dolly Parton, Anthony Joshua, Randall Park, Jane Fonda, Camila Cabello, Kurt Fairnley, Naomi Campbell, Dremond Green, Bebe Rexa, Min Jin Lee, Sean Mendes, Steff. Sanjay Gupta, Kesha and many others.
