A month after his death at the age of 85 following a battle with the corona virus, actor Star Wars was buried in a small funeral home.
AceShowbiz – “Star Wars“Epic Dave Plos Darth Vader was buried with a floral arrangement themed at a small funeral on Monday (21Dec20).
The former champion weightlifter who played the villain in the first “Star Wars” trilogy turned 85 last month (November 20) due to a minor illness.
On Monday, daughter Rachel took to Instagram to share some pictures from her father’s funeral, including an arrangement of black roses that look like the famous Dart Warder mask.
In other flowers the word “Dad” is written on a white rose, and on the other is a green cross symbol embedded in a square of white flowers – in a 1970s ad starring Dave Green as the cross code man.
“So today we said goodbye to my father. It was a very small reunion of family and close friends,” Rachel wrote in her post on Instagram. “Covid controls were not a wake-up call, but we hope to celebrate his life by the end of next year when some of the similarities of ‘normality’ return. There is so much more to say, but the fact that we love you and we miss you will suffice.”
She ended the post with the hashtag “#Dad #daveprowse #darthvader #greencrosscodeman”.
According to Rachel, Dave Plos died of a corona virus and could not be with his family at the last minute. “It’s terrible to be able to see him on the ward and not say goodbye, it’s more difficult,” she said.
