COVID explodes as the first cruise ship to be restarted in the Caribbean

The first cruise ship to enter the Caribbean since March has more cases of COVID-19.

The ship’s captain told passengers that five people on board the Sea Dream 1 cruise had tested positive for the corona virus. CNN reported Thursday night.

The statement said all guests and non-essential staff were under construction at the shipyard and the ship was leaving Barbados.

Seedream is awaiting the approval of the Barbadian government to allow guests to land safely, ”the statement said.

None of the crew tested positive; All guests were tested twice before the trip began and are now being tested again, the statement said.
