A UFC film crew has flown to Connor McGregor’s camp ahead of the UFC 257 fight with Dustin Pourier – and his colleagues have already played a derogatory joke.
The promotion sent a team to behind-the-scenes training and interviews as the infamous man prepares to return to Octagon next month.
The UFC Embedded Series in the last days gives fans an incredible view, paving the way for every scene and fight, and McGregor has starred in several productions over the years.
While the staff at McGregor’s camp in Portugal made themselves comfortable, they spent hours setting up the lighting and background for the interview with Dubliner and teammates.
When the crew finished the set, Cavanagh and one of McGregor’s coaches, Sergei Pikulski, decided to tell the crew a joke, telling them to use the area for training.
Before the Kavanagh workers were allowed to joke, the frustrated officers agreed to move their equipment – much to their relief.
“So UFC is an embedded crew town. They spent a few hours setting up the lights in our training areas,” Cavanagh explained.
“Once everything was done we were told to move to other areas so we could train there.
“Hours are wasted, and you can see their faces drooping when they think all their work is in vain. Well done Sergei Pikulski. It plays perfectly straight.”
The hilarious joke comes after Jake Paul claimed to have offered $ 50 million to fight Conor McGregor in a boxing match while trolling Dubliner and his fiance in a video posted online.
Former NBA player Nate Robinson defeated YouTube star Mike Tyson v Roy Jones Jr. to make his boxing record 2-0.
Although Paul McGregor was summoned after the victory, UFC President Dana White stated that a fight between them would not take place any time soon.
His infamous return to UFC action next month against Dustin Pourier in his first game in a year, but now it looks like he has another fighting offer in 2021.
Paul McGregor and Dee DeVille were approached while talking on a video online.
He said: “My team sent you an offer of $ 50 million this morning – $ 50 million in cash and proof of funding – the biggest offer ever offered to you. But, Connor, you are still afraid to fight me. You duck me because you don’t want to lose to youtube.
“You’re 0-1 as a boxer, I’m 2-0 as a boxer. I’m from the eighth biggest pay-per-view event in history, but you want to fight Dustin Prober, who has less followers. Better a poor horse than no horse at all. “
Paul Loss responded to White’s recent comments: “Connor, you’re scared. Dana, you’re scared. Widots, sign the F *** contract. Jesus f *** n Christ … Irish b **** … f *** These. ”
Among those who criticized Paul in the video was McGregor’s longtime rival Nate Diaz.
He tweeted: “Jake Paul you need your ass for free. You’re bad *** You really can not fight the memories *** End up with your ass, talking like that somewhere.”
