Com Kelleher was elected president of Ubs

Com Keller was elected Chairman of the Bank’s Board of Directors by a large majority of UBS shareholders. The 64-year-old Irish-born manager succeeds German Axel Weber after ten years of legal limitations.

Kellogg’s won 97.7% of the vote in today’s general assembly. He worked for Morgan Stanley, the executive American investment bank with modern history studies in Oxford, for 30 years, and was president until June 2019.

UBS shareholders also appointed a new vice president of the board, with 96.9% of the vote, in the name of Lucas Gahwiler. Born in 1965, Gahwiller previously chaired the board of directors of UBS Switzerland. He was previously a member of UBS Group Management and previously worked at Credit Suisse. His job is to represent the company in relations with Swiss associations and political representatives.

All other members of UBS’s Supervisory Body reaffirmed their support with at least 95% of the vote. The only exception is Reto Francione’s defection: the executive – among other things – has not been re – nominated by the Swiss board of directors.
