Chad Daybell, the partner of doomsday-obsessed cult mom Lori Vallow, is facing upgraded rates soon after the mangled remains of his two stepchildren were uncovered buried in his Idaho yard, officials reported Wednesday. 

Daybell was billed with two felony counts of conspiracy to dedicate destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence late Tuesday, soon soon after Vallow appeared in court docket on the same costs, data show. 

Daybell — who’s penned several books about the stop of the earth and even wrote about a earlier career as a gravedigger — was arrested June 9 on felony prices of destruction, alteration or concealment of proof immediately after law enforcement observed the stays of seven-yr-previous Joshua “JJ” Ryan and 16-calendar year-previous Tylee Vallow buried in his backyard.

He pleaded not responsible to those people charges, which are different to the new counts of conspiracy to dedicate destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence.

Daybell was set to look in courtroom on the new felony rates at 1 p.m. Wednesday local time, officers stated.

He is scheduled for a preliminary listening to on Aug. 3 and 4 on the past rates, in accordance to East Idaho News.

Neither Daybell nor Vallow has been charged with producing the children’s deaths.
