Celtic Nueva at a public meeting in Periac-de-Mer

The annual general meeting of the Celtic New Association was held on Friday, February 12th. Due to sanitary conditions, the session was held via video conference with zoom software. President Siobhan Sheehi presented the 2020 Activity Report.

Some entertainment due to pandemic. The second quiz will be held on February 7, 2020 with about 40 participants and eight competing teams.

St. Patrick’s (St. Patrick’s) March 7 at Chatto de Prat-de-Zest. On this occasion, he conducted three workshops with over twenty participants: violin with Gilhem Caville, guitar with Olivier Arnaud, dance with Wolfgang Lebert, and Irish songs with Frank Gonnon.

The two brought more than 80 people together for a ball concert with a barber.

Other scheduled activities may need to be canceled due to health issues.

The financial report shows a balanced budget. Activity and financial reports were unanimously approved.

With the discovery of Irish culture through monthly theme events (Saturday or Sunday), the association aims to promote creativity through artistic and cultural exchanges between Ireland and France.
