Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Beta is now available to all PS4 players

This weekend’s Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War closed beta is no longer closed. Anyone on PS4 can jump for free now!

It’s been a great weekend for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Beta closes for PlayStation 4 owners. However, a few days later, Activision and Tracker decided to remove the “closed” part of that beta. On Saturday morning, both surprised PS4 users by announcing that the Cold War beta would now be open to the public.

On top of being open to all players, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Beta also gets an extra game mode. 12v12 Multiplayer Fiesta, also known as Integrated Weapons: Attack, currently running on Cartel, Armada and Crossroads maps. Describes how the game mode Triark Website:

The competition consists of two teams of 12 teams spread across the map to fight for control of a central neutral capture zone. Once that target is captured, the next one opens deeper into the enemy kingdom. The first team that successfully infiltrates and captures the final zone of the enemy comes to the top.

By default, teams face it through five capture zones on each map. Once a zone is captured, the match timer pauses, allowing teams to reset and prepare for the next push. The match is won when a team captures the final area at the end of linear progress of goals. If neither team successfully captures the final zone of the enemy, the round will end, and the teams will play a single overtime round. The first team to capture the zone will win the round and match.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Beta is now available until Monday, October 12th. If you’re on PS4 and lost, you will have a second crack in it when Open Beta runs from October 15th. 16. Early access period will work for PC and Xbox One users on the same weekend.
