The movie

iPhone 13 Pro / iPhone 13 Pro MaxThe display is covered with a ceramic shield, which is stronger than any smartphone glass. Even with the iPhone 13 Pro having such a solid ceramic cover, many people use a case to protect their device. I thought about getting a unique case.YouTuber の Matty BenedettoHe made his own “candy-throwing case” for the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

I found a candy supply iPhone case (iPhone 13 Pro Max!) – YouTube

Benedetto, who used the iPhone 12 Pro Max, decided to design the best iPhone case based on his experience of dropping and crashing the device.

So, first look at the dimensions of the iPhone 13 Pro Max and model the case with 3DCG software.

The case is output to a 3D printer. TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) is used for the material of the filament case. Because the TPU filament is flexible, it can be used in one case to create a high cushioning material that is resistant to dropping.

That’s why the real case is over. Since it uses a TPU filament, you can see that it is flexible enough.

When I attached it to the iPhone 12 Pro Max I had in my possession, the asymmetrical part of the main camera fits perfectly.

The depth is designed to be compatible with the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

With this alone, this will only be an iPhone case, so Benedetto said it was a candy …

The idea was to put the components of a pinball machine together in one case.

Therefore, the 3DCG software is used to model the parts that integrate the pinball machine components with the case. The blue part is the injection machine and the white part is the iPhone case that is output using the TPU filament. The candy is stored in a large space under the main camera, with the injection machine and injection rail mounted on its right side.

The candy stock space and ejection rail allow only one candy to pass through.

That’s why I output the extra parts immediately using a 3D printer.

Parts The output parts are as follows. The Blue Case is the combination of the injection machine and the candy stock space.

The following are the parts used for the injection mechanism. The red part is the handle and tip of the candy-playing injection machine. Two springs are provided to prevent the handle of the injector from getting inside the case and by removing the springs inside and outside the case.

Below are the parts to be placed at the bottom of the candy stock space and the injection rail part to change the overall color.

We will also add the injection system.

Put a long spring in the case …

A small spring is also attached to the outside of the case.

Finally, assemble the injection machine part and case.

This completes.

Verify that the injection machine part is working properly.

When not pulled on the handle, the injection machine closes the hole connecting the candy stock space and the injection rail part, so there is no need to worry about expelling excess candy.

And attached. The bottom of the candy stock space is as shown below …

It can be easily removed. This makes it easy to refill the candy at any time.

So all you have to do is install iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The candy case iPhone case is complete.

Shoot.

The candy dances brilliantly in the sky.
