In the old days – four or five years ago – you know – you knew Black Friday was coming when you started seeing advertising leaks on Black Friday. These were scanned PDFs or JPEGs of advertisements from major retailers describing Black Friday sales. Intended for the Sunday newspaper just before Thanksgiving week, these will mark the season’s biggest “doorbuster” sales, ranging from $ 199 gaming console bundles to $ 99 TVs.
Cut to 2020, the landscape is a little different. Retailers are “leaking” circulars on their sites and schedules to help them overcome the hype drums for their holiday sales. We want to get you the best deals of the season so we collect PDFs and links right here. Includes links to related online stores and CNET stories that highlight our favorite deals.
Walmart Black Friday 2020 Deals
Walmart is still running three 2-part sales between Thanksgiving.
- The Black Friday event kicked off online at Walmart.com on November 4 at 7pm.
- Further deals will be available in stores on November 7 at 12 noon ET and at 5 am local time. From November 7 to 13, Walmart is hosting its annual tire event in stores and online.
- Event 2 will start online at 7pm ET on November 11 and will offer deals on electronics such as TVs, computers and tablets, Walmart said. Additional deals will be available on November 14 at 12 noon ET and at 5 am local time in stores.
- Event 3 will start online at 7pm ET on November 25th, with additional deals being offered in stores on November 27th (actual Black Friday) at 12am ET and 5pm local time.
