Five-time Grammy Award winner Billy Elish has released a fun music video for his song “No Time to Die”, the theme song for the much-anticipated James Bond film of the same name. Elish sings as clips from the film are shown throughout, set in black and white tones. The video was directed by checking out below.
“It simply came to our notice then. It is a great honor to be able to score a theme song for a film that is part of such an epic series, ”Elish said in a press release. Her brother and producer Finnias added, “Writing a theme song for a Bond film is something we have dreamed of all our lives. There is nothing more paired between music and film than Gold Finger, Live and Let Die. We feel very fortunate to play a small role in such a legendary franchise. Elish is the youngest artist to record a theme song at the age of 18. Following in the footsteps of Adele, Chris Cornell, Madonna, Jack White, Alicia Keys, Paul McCartney and Shirley Bassi.
Billy Elish and Finnias, who starred as Jimmy Fallon on NBC’s The Tonight Show on October 5, will also be joining Daniel Craig for James Bond Day. No time to die It will be released in theaters on November 20th.
They recently demonstrated at the Democratic National Convention, delivered a short speech urging people to vote, acknowledging Joe Biden and declaring that “Donald Trump is destroying our country.” The performance was later tweeted by Biden.
