Belgian group Cofinimo expands real estate portfolio to Ireland for 93 million

Cofinimo continues to expand its European real estate portfolio. The Belgian listed group now owns six residential care centers and a rehabilitation clinic in Ireland. It represents an investment of 93 million.

“This first transaction in Ireland allows Cofinimo to diversify European medical real estate, not only geographically, but also into the portfolio of medical real estate.”, Says Jean-Pierre Hanin, CEO.

French Domusvi “main partner”

Domusque, a French group, has previously provided seven care facilities, which are active worldwide in the care of the elderly. Jean-Pierre Hanin talks about a “key partner”. “Domusvi is a leader in the care of the elderly in many European countries. We are happy to support them in their desire to grow in Ireland.”.

In addition to Ireland, Cofinnimo has assets in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and Finland. The company’s real estate portfolio is valued at around 4. 4.6 billion. Healthcare real estate represents 2. 2.7 billion of this amount.
