Internet Desk: The smartphone is the only hand-held device with features such as a large display for watching videos, good cameras for photos, and a high-capacity battery for continuous operation. Today’s generation has a phone in their hand but can travel around the world. Google is bringing another new feature to the smartphone which is intertwined with human life. Android 12 OS will be released soon. With this feature called ‘App Pairs’ you can open two apps on the phone at the same time. It also has the facility to pair two applications.
In the past, Android phones had a similar feature called split screen. However, it was not very popular as it was not user friendly. With this, Microsoft introduced the Surface Duo and Samsung introduced the slip screen feature called Multi Window. Google has recently replaced the slip screen with application pairs. This feature is pinned to the top of the phone for easy access by users. There will be an application-to-app divider with these application pairs. This allows the user to reduce the distance between the two when opening two applications at the same time. You can also switch apps from top to bottom. This feature is available to the user by double tapping on the divider. It is reported that arrangements are being made to make application pairs available in the first half of this year.
