Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha suggests he was stunned with the extent of affect “Thappad” experienced on men, and believes that is the largest achievements of the movie.

“When you are creating, you hope and when you write more, you sort of know, from time to time you are wrong, but you know, it is a really slim line,” Sinha explained to IANS when requested if he sensed how “Thappad” will be received by the audiences.
“I was form of confident that it will have a extremely excellent affect on girls because it was talking about them. What we did not know at all and what we failed to foresee at all, was the effect that it would have on them. It was astonishing and excellent, which was anything that I genuinely believe that was the biggest good results of the film,” Anubhav Sinha added.
Speaking about the film, he explained: “We knew we ended up chatting about some thing, which we don’t chat about.
