The Biden campaign launched its new headquarters on Friday at “Animal Crossing: New Horizon”, where players can visit the island of Biden HQ and learn all about the presidential candidate.
“Animal Crossing” is a life-simulation video game for Nintendo Switch, in which players can explore desolate islands and develop into human-animal communities.
At Biden headquarters, players can visit the candidate’s field office, where they are prompted to help with the campaign’s textbank, phonebank and a polling station, where they are encouraged to vote in real life.
The island includes ice cream stands, model trains and swags.
“With less than three weeks to go until election day, they ‘reach anywhere with voters across the country – including Animal Crossing,” Christian Tom, digital director of the Biden campaign, told CNN in a statement. “Exploring is at the heart of Animal Crossing.
“Animal Crossing” is a huge success for Nintendo, and it’s not the first time it’s trying to capitalize on its popularity by campaigning directly on the Biden campaign platform.
begin In September, players were able to place biden promotional symbols and yard banners around their virtuals. Nearby.
President Donald Trump has no plans to make a similar effort on “Animal Crossing: New Horizons.”
“This explains it all: Joe Biden thinks he’s campaigning from his base for the president of Animal Crossing,” Samantha Sagar, deputy national press secretary for the Trump campaign, told CNN. “The Trump campaign will continue to spend its resources with real Americans in the real world.”
To visit “Biden HQ”, players must lay down their avatars on a bed and give them the dream code DA-7286-5710-7478.
