Entitled “3 Souls, One Adventure”, the exhibition will run from this Saturday 12th October to Sunday 20th October at the former Bannalec Stud Farms. “We are three female artists, Lorraine Keravec, Tisca Louw and Cecilia Beauclair, who created this exhibition. It was the result of a trip to the south of Ireland where we were taken to showcase designer clothing and accessories,” she explains.
“Travel has always inspired work: there is this allure of the unknown elsewhere and, at the same time, this call to self-discovery. Here, we wanted to discover magical landscapes, find an immediate connection with nature and confront ourselves with all the Celtic imaginations we have projected onto this beautiful country of Ireland. The result is our own mythology, composed of these different women who are representatives of the same feminine unit. With the female form a recurring element in our artistic approaches, here we explored versions of the female, landscapes, legends and histories that inspired us. A dialogue between nature and portraiture becomes a reflection of the other,” she adds.
