RIO – A woman was taped to the seat of a plane after she attacked a crew and tried to open the door of the plane. The incident happened on July 6 on American Airlines Flight 1774.

After trying to open the boarding gate, the young woman attacked and bit a flight attendant. American Airlines reported to The Post that the passenger was contained “for the safety of other customers and our employees.”

The video, posted on social media, shows a woman with a coconut tape in her mouth and her hands and body glued to the seat.

The two-hour flight from Dallas-Fort Worth to Charlotte was busy after about an hour. According to Tic Tac Toe user പോസ്റ്റ് lol.ariee who posted the video, the flight attendants started turning on the lights and moving strangely through the corridors, whispering to each other.

The flight attendants began to lock the toilets, taking the bags out of the overhead compartment and not telling them what was going on, @ lol.ariee said.

Finally, the pilot spoke through the intercom and asked people to stay in their seats, referring to “a bad situation on the plane right now” in the passenger’s opinion.

“So we gradually began to hear more and more cries, thinking‘ wait a minute ’.

As the plane was about to land, a flight attendant next to them explained to a mentally ill woman, “I felt like getting off the plane. ‘I have to get off this plane,’ she said, and she went to the exits and started knocking on the door, ‘You have to get me off this plane! ‘”

Emergency officials took a flight to Charlotte and took the young woman to a local hospital, where the airline said it was on the U.S. domestic “flight ban list” during the investigation.
