The site revealedwabetainfoAbout a new feature called WhatsApp “Read Later” or “Read Later” which is a better alternative to the “Archived Chats” or “Archived Conversations” feature.
The new feature allows users to transfer conversations they do not want to see in their messages, even after reaching directly into the app, in another section called “Read Later”, which can be viewed later.
The message will move to the new section without opening the user’s selected dialog and showing the recipient reading the message.
It is also noted that conversations placed in this section do not provide any written or audio alerts about any new message appearing in the conversation.
“Read Later” can be used to browse messages, and calls are available next to “Status” in the “Chat” section at the top of the screen.
The site hints that this feature will soon be available for Android operating systems, without revealing a specific site and its launch on the iOS operating system.
WhatsApp, a subsidiary of parent company Facebook, has reportedly come under fire in recent days.
The social media giant “Facebook” has come under fire for its policies regarding the privacy of its customers and the sharing of their data with advertising companies and political advertisers.
The company has denied WhatsApp rumors about users’ chats being stored on servers except in certain cases and has confirmed that no one can see them.
The WhatsApp application said in a message to all its subscribers that the privacy measures will not affect the sharing of user information with Facebook, adding that the final step is to focus on the use of ads in the app and that WhatsApp has been sharing user information with Facebook for years.
