Manual manual correction

You will have an inch edge for the sides of the hole. Next, flip these edges over and set the price in place.
Get a square patch just over inch on all sides. Then flip less than inch from all edges of the patch to the right side and press. Keep the patch under the right side up. You can match prints and stripes, too. Look at the weaving direction of the fibers and try to align the patch if possible. Hold or stick the patch in place.
From the wrong side of the garment, hem the patch. Next, turn the garment over to the right side and hem the hem on the vamp with slip stitches.
Attach the patches with the running stitch
You can also choose to attach patches to a running stitch. This applies if you have a ready-made patch, as it is the easiest way to attach it to the garment.
