The 30-second clip of the cat walking the wrong way off the escalator has been viewed more than six million times since it was posted online this weekend.

In the short clip, a black and white cat is seen jumping up and down an escalator. The incident took place at a library in eastern China.

The cat, described as “arrogant”, seems to recognize its error when walking on a human foot, but is always determined, and continues on its erroneous path through the escalator steps.

According to the person who shot the video, Miss Hee, the cat finally went back to the top of the escalator, she said. Daily Mail.
