KBC Bank is set to close four of its 16 branches in Ireland. It is expected that less than 20 jobs will be lost.
The state-run digital centralized lender, which employs 1,400 people, will close what it refers to as hubs in Dublin’s Dundrum, Greystones in CoViclow and Nass in Co. Kildare, and in the future with customers who use these locations in Stlg ഡrgan, Dublin and Maine in Co. Kildare.
The bank’s center on Main Street in Swords, Co Dublin will be relocated to a local pavilion shopping center, while the space in Kilkenny will be closed, the company added.

A spokesman declined to comment on the number of job losses. However, she said the bank would try to redeploy staff to expanded locations and other roles.
