Nations League: England's list against Ireland and Finland!

As the first days of the Nations League begin, the England national team prepares to do battle with Ireland and Finland in early September. Three Lions interim manager Lee Carsley has unveiled a list of 26 players he has called up to defend his country's colours, including a number of young talents who could be offered a first chance at the highest level.

Europe's vice-champions, England approach this deadline with a declared desire to mark their territory from the start of this new campaign. The Three Lions begin preparations next Monday at St George's Park, an intensive training course that will allow Lee Carsley to fine-tune the final details ahead of the perilous trip to Dublin on September 7, before hosting Finland at Wembley. 10 September.

New faces in the dungeon!

Among the selected players, we note the first call-ups to the first team for Tino Livramento, Angel Gomez, Morgan Gibbs-White and Noni Maduke. These young prospects who have distinguished themselves over the years within the youth teams will get a chance to prove their worth on the international stage.

The defenders : Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Levi Colville (Chelsea), Mark Guvehi (Crystal Palace), Ezri Konza (Aston Villa), Rico Luiz (Manchester City), Tino Livramento (Newcastle United), Harry Maguire (Manchester United ), John Stones (Manchester City)

The midfielders : Phil Foden (Manchester City), Connor Gallagher (Atletico de Madrid), Morgan Gibbs-White (Nottingham Forest), Angel Gomes (Lille), Kobi Mainoo (Manchester United), Cole Palmer (Chelsea), Declan Rice (Arsenal)
