Step 1: Open the Uber app and click on Account.
Step 2: Then click on Trips. Details of all the trips you have made will be listed.

Additional Charged Routes

Step 3: Select the extra charged route.
Step 4: Click Get Trip Help.
Step 5: File an overcharged complaint for your trip.
Step 6: If the driver is traveling around town, you can report that too.
Step 7: After specifying the travel date, submit the complaint.

When will the money be refunded?

After following all these steps and confirming that your journey has been overcharged, it will be refunded if it is more than the fare shown at the time of booking.
