Atmospheric concentrations of the greenhouse gases responsible for global warming will reach record levels in 2021, as will sea levels. This was reported by the American Oceanic and Atmospheric Observation Agency (NOAA) on Wednesday, August 31.
As greenhouse gas emissions continue to rise again after the Covid-19 crisis, the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere has reached an average of 414.7 parts per million (ppm), according to the annual report. American Journal of Climate, led by NOAA scientists.

These gases, produced by burning coal, oil and gas, which we use to move, feed and house us, are causing global warming and cascading damage, as France was able to observe this summer.
