[Mis à jour le 11 juin à 14h10] The 6,293 candidates, spread across 577 constituencies, are expected to become deputies after the second round of assembly elections on Sunday, June 19. In 2017, there were 1,700 fewer people than there were 7,900. First, from Sunday, June 12, they will try to pass the course of the first round. To find your way, we have prepared a map and search engine for you.

To find your constituency and the list of candidates for the legislative elections, enter the name of the community you are registering in the electoral lists below the search engine. You can easily identify your voting area and the various candidates who ran there for the 2022 Assembly elections and their political color. All you have to do is go to a polling station on June 12.

Legislative elections are of concern to the whole of France, but in the form of a total of 577 elections in 577 constituencies. These are numbered by department and vary by population: from one constituency of less populous department such as Cruz, to 21 constituencies of a more densely populated Nord department. This map gives access to the list of constituencies for each department.

In Paris and other large cities, such as Toulouse or Nice, legislative elections tend to be confined to a particular configuration. The largest communes are actually divided into several constituencies. So there are a lot of candidates running in all these cities, and voters will ultimately have only about ten ballots at their polling stations. The list of candidates for the Assembly elections is now official, and Linternaute invites you to take a look at the candidates running in each constituency. Thanks to our map, you can find different candidates for deputies in each of the 577 regions and their political color.

(Almost) everyone can stand in the parliamentary elections. First, it is mandatory to have a legal age. According to the Electoral Code, to stand as a candidate in an Assembly election, a number of conditions must be met: the legal age on election day; Enjoy their civil rights; Not in the case of incompetence or disqualification prescribed by law. In addition, to become a candidate, each ballot requires the filing of a declaration of candidacy in the prefecture. If you want to apply, it’s already too late: For the first round, nominations must be submitted between Monday, May 16 and Friday, May 20, 2022. In the second round, submission of applications – for those who are eligible – is possible on 13th and 14th June 2022.

The declaration of candidature should include the following details: surname, first name, gender, date and place of birth, place of residence, occupation of the candidate; Family name, surname, gender, date and place of birth, place of residence, job replacing the candidate; Constituency where the application was made; Signature of the candidate. Must be accompanied by written consent of the replacement.

On the other hand, a candidate is not obliged to appear on the electoral roll of a municipality in the Assembly constituency in which he or she is targeting. Candidates should also provide documents proving that they have appointed a financial agent.
