Italy’s Major Premier Paddle will air in 167 regions, becoming the most watched paddle event of all time

The Greatest Reach in Paddle History
The Major Premier Paddle in Italy is set to become the largest paddle event in sporting history as 167 regions will broadcast the second “Major” starting today on Rome’s historic Foro Italico.
These 167 global regions have surpassed the number of 156 regions broadcast by the inaugural event Ooredoo Qatar Major 2022 last March. The first paddle with major media around the world proves its popularity once again.
The announcement once again confirms the growing popularity of the sport globally following the launch of the Premier Paddle, the official world paddle circuit governed by the International Paddle Federation (FIP) and the Professional Paddle Association (PPA) in Qatar. Sports Investments (QSI).

At least 10 new tournaments in 2022
Premier Paddle will host at least ten (10) new tournaments in 2022 – including four Category 1 events named “Major”. The first major tournament – Ooredoo Qatar Major 2022 – was held in Doha in March. In addition to the Italian Major Premier Paddle, which runs through May 29, the other Category 1 tournaments will be the Paris Major Premier Paddle and the Mexico Major First Paddle, which will take place from July 11 to 17 at Roland Garros Stadium. As with all Tier 1 tournaments, players will compete for a stake of 5 525,000 – the record amount offered for any top-tier Premier Paddle tournament, with 2,000 official ranking points per winner.
Argentina’s Premier Paddle P1 Tournament will be the inaugural tournament of Category 2 from August 8 to 14.
