Tunisia falls to 128th place after a steady decline in economic independence since the late 1990s.

In the 2022 edition of this week’s Economic Freedom Index, Tunisia ranks 128th out of 177 countries, down 9 places from last year and 33 places from the year before the 2010 “revolution”. The economic and economic health of the country as well as the collapse of the investment climate.

In the 2022 edition, Singapore established itself as the world’s most liberalized economy, with an overall score of 84.4. Switzerland and Ireland share the podium with Asian countries. North Korea (3.0 out of 100 points) and Venezuela (24.8) are the countries where economic freedom is suppressed. A group of countries including Egypt, Lebanon and Algeria.
