In recent years Netflix has released several sports documentaries that have been well received by users compared to other series. Following in the footsteps of the highly successful Formula 1 series “Drive to Survive”, the upcoming golf documentary is set to hit the screens. The same producers are working together to give an interesting look behind the scenes as in the Formula 1 documentary. Unlimited access to professional tournaments will result in valuable recordings that show more about the players and their lives.
High profile players pledge on Netflix
In addition to the regular tournaments on the PGA Tour, Netflix is also able to capture bigger tournaments up close. The intensity of training, trips to tournaments, and victories and defeats should be recorded. Some professionals have opened up to the new series, including Dustin Johnson, Brooks Copca, Jordan Speith, Justin Thomas, Sergio Garcia and many other well-known players. It is exciting that the players themselves appear in the golf series and provide intense insights into their tour careers. Max Homa, who is already active on Twitter, did not restrain his words, so he can not believe that he will reach Netflix soon.
I can not believe my mother is on Netflix

However, not only players like Tiger Woods, Rory McClory, Phil Mickelson and Bryson Dichambo, but also current world number one John Rahm do not seem to be included in the series.
The PGA Tour wants to attract more audiences through the documentary
The main goal of sports documentation should be the development of those interested in golf. “This partnership with Netflix gives PGA Tour and the four major championships the opportunity to reach completely new and diverse audiences,” said Rick Anderson, Media Manager for PGA Tour. “Even the toughest golf fans have never seen such a sport,” adds Brandon Reig, vice manager of Netflix Documentaries, while emphasizing that every golf fan must have seen the series.
Filming has begun and will continue throughout the year. It is not yet clear when the first part of the documentation will be published.
