Penalty shot – but the win was saved!

Shortly after his sensational transfer to Manchester United, the World Cup qualifier against Ireland did not start well for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Just 10 minutes later the first excitement of the game: Bruno Fernandes was fouled in the penalty area and the referee looked at the scene on the matte jug monitor – conceding a penalty. But when Ronaldo got the ball to the point, Ireland’s Oshaya hit the ball. Too much for Ronaldo: The Portuguese angrily beat the Irishman, however, allowing him to fall dramatically himself.

The whole wild excitement brought nothing. The referee allowed Ronaldo to pass the attack and missed a penalty (15 ‘).

Just before the break, the ball actually lands in the net. But not for Portugal: Egan put Ireland ahead 1-0 after a corner (45 ‘).

Portugal are still winning the game and of course Ronaldo. The five-time world footballer still scores his goals and saves Portugal with two late header goals 2: 1 (89th / 90th + 6th).

France 1-1 Bosnia and Herzegovina

World champion disappointed: France get just a few points against Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The top of the table in Group D starts from a top line-up: Pogba starts in the midfield, along with Benzema in the Mbabane attack, Griezmann who switched from Barcelona to Atletico Madrid.

Focus on France: PSG striker Mbabane. His dream of moving to Real Madrid was shattered, and now the most valuable player in the world is allowed to play against Bosnia-Herzegovina.

But the first goal was scored with an old hand: Edin D’Sico (35) scored the 60th goal in his 115 international appearances. A dream goal from 20 meters gave France a 1-0 lead (36).

Bringing a billiard goal balance: After a corner by Mbabane, Disco Greissman heads, and from there the ball goes to Had‌sicadonic’s knee – and then jumps back to the line as determined by the video referee (39th).

In the second half, the French suffered a setback: the County got a red card for a foul on former Schalke star Kolasinak (51). Innumerable, the French did not score another goal – a disappointing 1-1 left.

Norway 1-1 Holland

The first match after five years under coach Louis van Gaal (70). The former Bayern coach initially left Wolfsburg’s Wegorst on the bench. But another Bundesliga striker scored. 20 minutes later Dortmund’s Torweger Holland gave Norway a 1-0 lead!

But before the break, the Dutchman retaliated. After a cross from Vijnaldam, Klaassen drew 1-1 (36th).
