Community inclusion: Formigin continues projects with Ireland and partner cities

Since the official signing of the Twinning Agreement between the Irish City and Formigen in Kilkenny in March 2018, the international relationship between the two companies has continued.

Malcolm Noonan, Kilkenny’s former mayor and current minister of legacy and electoral reform, met with Paulo Serpi, the Italian ambassador to Ireland, last November to update him on ongoing plans with Formigen. Of these, the European Volunteering Project at the KCAT Art Center has a special mention: for the fourth year in a row, Formigin Municipality is participating as a partner in a project promoted by the Campfile Communities of Ireland Association, which provides a volunteer experience. 10 months at the KCAT Art & Study Center in Callan, near Kilkenny.

Great focus on sustainability: Victor Branagam, an Irish expert on social and environmental sustainability, was a guest on one of the newest municipal councils. The theme of the meeting is welfare and inclusion of all sections of the population, especially from a work perspective.
