Kovid-19: Italy imposes new restrictions on crossing the border

Italy re-imposes very strict regulations to counter the proliferation of the Omicron variant.

They are valid until the end of January

This Thursday, from December 16 to January 31, 2022, passengers entering France from Italy will be subject to the new rules, depending on their health. Recommendations published Tuesday evening on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ website.

For travelers who have been vaccinated: Present negative results of antigen test less than 24 hours or PCR test less than 48 hours (self tests are not accepted); And proof of a complete vaccination schedule with a vaccine approved by the European Medicines Agency (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Janssen; valid 14 days after the last vaccination).

For non-vaccinated passengers: Present a negative result of antigen test less than 24 hours or PCR test less than 48 hours (self tests are not accepted); And comply with the 5 day quarantine at the address indicated on the traceability form; Uninterrupted isolation until the end of day 5 and after a new negative test.
