George Gentle – The Incorrectable: The Blind Hatred on the TV Show

The Bluetooth family is an incredibly chaotic group. When family head George Bloot (Jeffrey Tamber) goes to jail for cheating, Michael Bluet (Jason Bateman) agrees to lead the fortunes of his family and company. However, each family member is a complete disaster in their own way: mother Lucy (Jessica Walter) is cold and alcoholic, Michael’s sister Lindsay (Portia de Rossi) is irresponsible and wasteful, and Buster (Tony Hale) simply does not want to. Gob (Will Arnett) is a magician who succeeds and fails. They all live on the money of the company that their father often illegally acquired. Michael is tired of watching his brothers and parents’ antics, but the company and relatives go to the dogs.
The office-like series is also painted in a documentary style. Conversations with the characters and camera work indicate that he is shooting a documentary about Bluetooth. The joke comes from the weird characters and the completely shameless comments they make. Hatred between family members grows deeper, and when Michael tries to limit the damage everyone will allow it to others. Scenes like Buster losing his hand or Gob trying to make a whole ship disappear as a magic trick are fun. Seasons 1 to 3 are made by Fox and are all similar in style. The idea and humor changed a bit after Netflix took over the fourth and fifth seasons. But they are all fun.
