Facebook said Friday evening it faces new difficulties in accessing its services. Last Monday, several social networks caused a global crash that lasted more than seven hours.

But what happens on Facebook? Four days after being subjected to a global blackout, the social network is experiencing new difficulties in accessing its services this Friday, October 8th. “We know some people have difficulty accessing our apps and products. We’re working to get things back to normal as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience,” the platform said on Twitter on Friday.

According to specialist site Down Detector, problems began to appear on Instagram after 6:00 pm GMT, to some extent on Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp. However, the situation seems to have resolved by 8:05 pm, as the number of people reporting incidents on the Down Detector site has dropped sharply.

On Monday, October 4, several social networks were disrupted for more than seven hours. Billions of users had to do without WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger apps. The next day, Facebook explained that the failure was “caused by a mistake on our part, not by malicious activity.”
