The hot air mass is getting stronger from today until Sunday

OmanThe impact of the hot air mass in the country is expected to intensify on Thursday, with temperatures continuing to rise, recording above-normal (4-6) degrees Celsius this time around.
The climate is warm in the mountains and plains, very hot in the Badia and Jordan valleys, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with medium high clouds and northeasterly winds blowing in the evening.
In its report, the Meteorological Department warns of the danger of exposure to afternoon sunlight and the possibility of reduced horizontal visibility in Badia areas due to dust.
According to the report, the effect of the hot air mass will continue tomorrow and Friday, and the atmosphere will continue to be warmer in the mountains and plains, with the Aqaba and clouds appearing at medium and high altitudes in Badia, the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.
On Friday, there will be light and scattered showers in limited parts of the south and east of the country, with winds blowing northeast, and in the afternoon the northwest will return to moderate speeds, sometimes active. The mountains and plains will be hot on Saturday, with high temperatures in Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
For Sunday, there will be a slight drop in temperature, and the weather will be warmer in the mountains and plains, with some clouds appearing over Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. At medium and high altitudes, winds will be moderate at northwest speeds and will be active at times.
The maximum and minimum temperature in Oman is 38 to 25 degrees Celsius, 35-21 in the northern highlands, 34-19 in the Shara highlands, 42-25 in the Badia region, 39-26 in the plains and 43-27 in the northern Jordan Valley, 44-. 30 degrees Celsius, 43-28 degrees Celsius in the Dead Sea and 42-29 degrees Celsius in the Gulf of Aqaba. – (Petra)
