The Northern Ireland Department of Health has suspended the online certification service for COVID-19 vaccination after it was found to be disclosing users’ personal data.
In the opinion of some Sources, The COVIDCert NI portal, where each user can obtain vaccination certificates, will provide random data from other users to the incorrect ones.
According to officials, the system will present data to a small group of users who do not match them, but to other users who have been vaccinated. No details were left about the number of affected users, but entities chose to temporarily disable the system until the solution was applied.
Remember that is the platform COVIDCert Allows citizens to obtain their vaccination certificates proving that they have a complete vaccine against COVID. This system is different from the NHS code used in the UK.
Authorities say the certificates issued will continue to be available and valid for use until the platform is suspended. Additionally, this issue does not affect anyone who has already ordered the certificate.
