Lucinda Riley, the best-selling author, slept peacefully on June 11th

Lucinda Riley loses battle with cancer. The Irish best-selling author died on the morning of June 11th. Lucinda’s family took to Instagram. According to a report in the Irish Examiner, Riley is 56 years old.

Despite her illness, Lucinda continued to write

“We are saddened to learn that Lucinda died peacefully this morning, around her family, which is very important to them,” the statement from relatives said.

The family knows this may shock Lucinda fans who don’t even know the author has been battling cancer for four years.

“Lucinda touched the hearts of everyone she met and read her books. She poured love and kindness into everything she did. She will inspire forever,” her relatives wrote on Instagram. It says in a final quote from Lucinda: “Through the pain and joy of the journey, I have learned the most important lesson I can give to life, and I’m glad it’s.

During her illness, Lucinda Riley wrote five books. She became known through the series “The Seven Sisters”, the latest episode of which is now “Missing Sister”. (News / CSP space)
