Video game giant Electronic Arts (EA) said Thursday Hackers have stolen your source code and other program tools But the attack is unlikely to affect players or their business activities.
Wise Media reported that the code used for the games had been taken by pirates, and FIFA 21, the Frostbite engine used in many EA games.
“We are investigating a recent intrusion into our network A limited number of game resources and accessories were stolen ”, An EA spokesman said.
He added that no player data had been accessed and there was no reason to believe that players’ privacy was at risk.
EA said it was actively working with authorities and experts as part of the criminal investigation.
