Published on

Currently practically BE, B.Tech. Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry are compulsory subjects for admission to engineering courses. In this context, the All India Council of Technology has redefined the new procedures for admission to engineering courses.

Even those who have not studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry are advised to join the engineering course. This method will be effective from the coming 2021-2022 academic year. Accordingly, 12 subjects are listed: Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Business, Entrepreneurship and Vocational Education. If you have studied any three of these in Class XII, you can join an engineering course.

The All India Council of Technology (AICT) has announced that those who have not studied the basic subjects of Engineering such as Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry can opt for the supplementary subject after joining Class XII.

In the event that students have not been interested in enrolling in engineering courses for the past few years, such an announcement will increase student enrollment. The Council of Technology of India has announced that students will be eligible for a certificate of eligibility under the new education policy if they drop out of the four-year engineering course within one or two years.
