The Swiss U21s beat Ireland 2-0 in Marbella, Spain.

The U21 national team, coached by Mauro Lustrinelli, took the lead in the 13th minute in Costa del Sol in southern Spain. Thanks to Leonidas Stergio. It was the first international goal of its kind to appear as captain of the U21s for the FC St. Gallen defender. Substitute Gabriel Barros from Lausanne-Sport rose 2-0 after the break.

Lustrinelli took the opportunity to experiment and moved to 7 positions at the break. An hour later, Ticino made 3 changes. Meeting Gibraltar twice at the start of qualifying for EM 2023 in early September is serious for his team.
