Science and Technology Desk: Leading global smartphone company Xiaomi has introduced new smartphones in the budget of Bangladeshi buyers. The new phone is Redmi A One. It has great features including large display, dual camera, stylish design and big battery.

This new Redmi phone has a 6.52-inch HD Plus display with a resolution of 720 by 1600 pixels. The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 chipset.

The device has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Storage can be expanded up to 1 terabyte via microSD card. The operating system is Google’s Android 12.

The new Redmi phone has a dual rear camera setup. There will be an 8-megapixel primary sensor and a 0.3-megapixel depth sensor. There is a 5-megapixel camera for selfie lovers. Both the cameras can capture images and videos in various modes like portrait, short video and time lapse.

With a 5000mAh battery, Redmi’s new phone supports 10W fast charging. Xiaomi claims that the phone will be active in standby mode for 30 days on a single charge. This phone is available in three colors. The phone is priced at Rs 9,999.
